Information we may collect

Depending on how you engage with CJC, we may collect:

• Contact information (name, email, phone, organization) you choose to share.
• Form responses submitted through support, volunteer, practitioner, partner, Academy, Community Pulse, or pathway forms.
• Organization and role information for partners.
• Account or login information, if applicable.
• Basic technical information (browser, device, usage/log data).

Sensitive information

Public forms should not be used for emergencies, urgent safety concerns, confidential legal details, medical information, case files, or detailed personal information unless a specific authorized process clearly explains how that information will be handled.

If there is immediate danger, call emergency services or use the appropriate crisis, school, protective-services, legal, or public-safety channel.

How information is used

• Responding to inquiries and reviewing requests.
• Identifying possible pathways and next steps.
• Supporting volunteer, practitioner, partner, Academy, and support conversations.
• Operating, securing, and improving the site.
• Complying with legal obligations or protecting safety and security when required.

Sharing

CJC does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only as needed to respond to a request, operate services, support authorized partner workflows, comply with law, or protect safety and security. Sensitive information should be shared only with appropriate authorization and safeguards.

Confidentiality and limits

CJC values confidentiality and trust. Some situations may carry legal or safety-related limits, including mandated reporting or immediate safety concerns. CJC will not treat a general website form as a complete confidential case file unless an authorized process says so.

Data stewardship

CJC practices minimal-necessary information collection, role-based access where applicable, consent-aware sharing, and careful, non-extractive reporting. See our Confidentiality and Data Stewardship page for more.

Security

CJC uses reasonable safeguards, including role-based access and secure systems where applicable, along with ongoing stewardship. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Retention

Information is retained as needed for the purposes described, unless deletion is requested and CJC is able to honor it, or unless legal or operational reasons require retention.
