Bring learning to your people.

CJC works with schools, colleges, public agencies, nonprofits, employers, and community groups to build practical capacity for conflict navigation, mediation, restorative practice, and peacemaking.

Start with your people and what you want them to be able to do. CJC shapes a workshop, cohort, certificate course, or longer learning partnership around the setting and the work.

Start with what you need.

A single session can be useful. Some organizations need a cohort, practice support, or implementation work that continues after the training day.

Workshops

A focused introduction or role-specific session for a team, school, agency, board, or community group.

Cohorts

Structured learning for a group developing mediation, restorative, facilitation, or related practice together.

Ongoing partnerships

Training, coaching, implementation support, facilitated practice, and follow-through over time.

Certificate courses.

Four certificate courses, developed and taught with Fresno Pacific University, are being re-launched. Details and the interest list are on Learn.

Shape the learning to where it lands.

The same peacemaking practice is taught differently in a classroom, a campus, a public system, a service organization, or a workplace.

Schools and districts

Student peacemaking alongside learning for teachers, counselors, administrators, support staff, and the adults who shape school life.

Colleges and universities

Cohorts for students, campus teams, professional programs, and educational collaborations.

Public agencies and justice partners

Role-specific learning for probation, courts, public safety, juvenile justice, and other public systems working with conflict and harm.

Nonprofits, employers, and coalitions

Conflict, mediation, and restorative learning for staff, practitioners, service teams, boards, and coalition partners.

Plan the partnership before making the commitment.

Institutional delivery is proposal-based. CJC and the organization define scope, delivery, staffing, schedule, recognition, and cost before committing to a cohort or implementation relationship.

People and purpose

Who the learning is for, what they need, cohort size, accessibility, and what you hope will change.

Learning and practice

Coursework, instructional format, facilitated practice, completion requirements, and the right level of support.

Agreement and next steps

Schedule, materials, responsibilities, applicable recognition, cost, and what happens after the initial learning.

Does every cohort lead to a certificate?

No. A full certificate pathway and a focused course are different options. A shortened or adapted course is not automatically the complete certificate.

Can learning be shaped for our setting?

Yes. Start with the audience and intended use. CJC can shape the scope, delivery arrangement, practice support, and follow-through around the setting while preserving the learning objectives.

Start with your people, not a package.

Tell CJC who you want to support, what you hope they will learn, and where you want the learning to lead. CJC shapes the right next step with you.
